Southern Sundays ← Back to the book

Privacy policy

Last updated: 9 October 2026

In plain words

We only collect what we need to sell you the book, deliver it and help you. We never sell your information, and you can ask us to delete it at any time.

Who we are

This website sells Southern Sundays by Gwen Williams. For any privacy question, email us.

What we collect

  • When you buy: your name, email address and order details, so we can deliver the book and help with refunds.
  • When you email us: your email address and whatever you choose to write.
  • When you visit: basic technical information your browser sends, such as your IP address and device type, which our hosting provider uses to deliver the site and keep it secure.

We do not see or store your full card details.

How we use it

  • to process your order and send you the book
  • to answer your questions and handle refunds
  • to keep the website working and secure

We only send you marketing emails if you have agreed to them, and every such email has a way to unsubscribe.

Who else receives it

We never sell your information. We share it only with the services that help us run the shop, and only as much as they need:

  • Payhip (checkout provider): takes your payment, with its payment processors, and delivers the download.
  • Email provider: sends and receives our emails.
  • Cloudflare (hosting): serves this website.
  • Google Fonts: supplies the typefaces on these pages, which means your browser requests them from Google.

These services may process information in other countries, under their own privacy and security safeguards.

Cookies and storage on your device

This website does not use advertising or tracking cookies. It remembers, for the current visit only, whether you've already seen the discount offer so it doesn't show twice. The checkout page is run by Payhip and may use its own cookies.

How long we keep it

We keep order records as long as tax and accounting laws require, and support emails only as long as we need them to help you.

Your rights

You can ask us to show you the information we hold about you, correct it, delete it, or stop sending you emails. Email us and we'll respond within 30 days. Depending on where you live, you may also have the right to complain to your local data protection authority.

Children

The book and this website are meant for adults. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 16.

Changes to this policy

If we change this policy, we'll update the date at the top of this page.
